Starting a Dev Log for The Magic Competition

I haven’t publicly shared much about my game project other than a couple tweets when I first started it in 2018. It’s come a long way since and I too have learned so much about game development. I’ve been meaning to write about my experiences from the project start, but I always found something else to do with my time, such as working on the game instead of talking about it! I’m also generally bad at sharing and marketing my work/art which is something I want to improve on. I figure now is a good time to start given that my engine is solidifying and the game is transitioning out of the prototype phase. I might take a stab at making videos instead of blogging, but I know that takes significantly more time and effort… I’ll ease my way into bigger things.

This is just a lame announcement post. I’ll return soon with some real content!
